✃the act of sticking together
the act of sticking together is my senior capstone project that combines my love for scrapbooking, magazines, and womanhood. it began with research on the history of magazines and scrapbooking, and the woman’s role within these mediums. i then began sourcing various secondhand magazines to be used in my workshop on april 7th 2025. participants were given the vintage magazines and were to create a collage and write a piece about an inspirational woman in their life. these 22 collages were then combined into an accordion book with riso printed counterparts.
